"In 2008, we hired Kapa to develop a garden plan for our new (1909) house on 11th Street. Kapa really knows our local plants--their needs for sun and soil and water, and their color, size, and shape. She is creative in arranging plants, easy to work with, and dependable. Our needs and suggestions were carefully addressed at all times. We gave her lists of plants that we liked, and she worked them into our personalized plans. Her blueprints were fabulous to both visualize how the plantings worked with our hose and lot, and to guide our purchase of plants. Each section of our garden has some plants of interest year-round and plants from one section are repeated in another to give the garden an integrated feel. Our small city lot exploded with color in interest! In fact, in the summer of 2009, our garden was given an award. We did the work but Kapa provided the inspiration! |
